If you will contemplate for a moment the intricate beauty of the butterfly's wing, or the petals of a rose, you will perhaps begin to glimpse the perfect plan which is in the mind of your Creator; you will know that all is good, all is working in obedience to divine law. It will help you to understand the working of that law, and the wisdom that is behind the plan of your life, if we say that you have with you your guardian angel and your teacher, your individual master who knows and is part of you, who understands every thought and aspiration of your heart and mind.
      A sparrow shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. When he said this Jesus was trying to convey how great is God's love for you, His child. If you could only surrender yourself to God's law and understand that what is happening to you is all part of a perfect outworking of this law, you could then be at peace. There is no need for you to feel overburdened, fearful, or sad; it is only the lower mind which is irked and frustrated by conditions. The earthly mind is the enemy of the spirit, but you are learning that the spirit must be your master. If you think of these words you will realise that your master is your own spirit, and your own spirit is part of the divine, Master, the Son of God. Mastery over yourself, and over your life can only grow and develop in you by your obedience to the divine law of love.
      As you seek the light by giving love and gentleness and kindness so you will find the light. The light is life.
